Tibetan astrology has four main sources: Bon (the oldest spiritual tradition of Tibet), Chinese and Indian astrology, as well as Kalachakra Tantra tradition from Buddhism. There are thus nine different personality types, each characterized by a specific color: White 1 (Parkha Kham), Black 2 (Parkha Khon), Blue 3 (Parkha Cin), Green 4 (Parkha Zon), Yellow 5 (Parkha Bom), White 6 (Parkha Khen), Red 7 (Parkha Da), white 8 (Parkha Kin) and red 9 (Parkha Li).
The main characteristics are based on the year of birth:
– White 1: 1927, 1936, 1945, 1954, 1963, 1972, 1981, 1990, 1999, 2008;
– Black 2: 1926, 1935, 1944, 1953, 1962, 1971, 1980, 1989, 1998, 2007;
– Blue 3: 1925, 1934, 1943, 1952, 1961, 1970, 1979, 1988, 1997, 2006;
– Green 4: 1924, 1933, 1942, 1951, 1960, 1969, 1978, 1987, 1996, 2005;
– Yellow 5: 1923, 1932, 1941, 1950, 1959, 1968, 1977, 1986, 1995, 2004;
– White 6: 1922, 1931, 1940, 1949, 1958, 1967, 1976, 1985, 1994, 2003;
– Red 7: 1921, 1930, 1939, 1948, 1957, 1966, 1975, 1984, 1993, 2002;
– White 8: 1920, 1929, 1938, 1947, 1956, 1965, 1974, 1983, 1992, 2001;
– Red 9: 1919, 1928, 1937, 1946, 1955, 1964, 1973, 1982, 1991, 2000.
These are the nine types of Parkha:
White 1 (Parkha Kham) represents the group of intuitive people, generous and capable of empathy, but that are easily hurt. Sometimes they are insecure and less ambitious, relate to events passively and they are not fighters. Regarding their health, they are prone to become addicted to drugs; their sensitive organs are the kidneys and bladder. Their glory years are between 35 and 38 years.
Black 2 (Parkha Khn) characterizes those nice people who have a conventional way of thinking. If you belong in this category, you must learn to take initiative and not wait for others. You have a great capacity for work, you are trustworthy and intelligent. Regarding your health, you are prone to have problems with your digestive system, with your back and your blood. Your glory years are between 45 and 47 years.
Blue 3 (Parkha Cin) denotes an independent personality, full of optimism. If you belong in this category, it means that you like to be in the spotlight and you are ambitious and an excellent storyteller. You drive on the principle that in life everything is possible, you just have to desire it. Regarding your health, you are prone to have problems with your feet, such as varicose veins; also, nervous system diseases may occur. Your glory years are between 34 and 38 years.
Green 4 (Parkha Zn) has the following characteristic features: you are obedient and unselfish. Your major defects are the inability of making decisions and the lack of will. You have a detached style, you are open, but you are also stubborn. Regarding your health, you reproductive system is very sensitive. Your years of fame are up to 39 years.
Yellow 5 (Parkha Bm). If you are part of this category, it means that you are prone to an extreme behavior; you are either extremely helpful or extremely mischievous. You are prone to laziness, to a nonconformist life, even to immorality. You feel a great need of feeling loved and in your love relationships you are passionate and you usually want to dominate. Regarding your health, you are prone to fever, hypertension and blood disorders. You have big chances of making career after the age of 42 years.
White 6 (Parkha Khen) has the following characteristic features: You are spontaneous, spiritual, intuitive and creative. You are born with all the qualities of a leader, having a dominant personality. Regarding your health, you often suffer from headaches, dizziness and fever; your sensitive organs are your lungs, heart and bones. Pay attention because you tend to assume more tasks than you can do and you also work too much. Your years of glory are between 28 and 33 years.
Red 7 (Parkha Da) characterizes the extrovert persons that always feel secure on them and that also like long discussions. For you, appearances and first impression are very important. You pay very much attention to details and you evaluate every situation. You are sensitive and sensual, and when you choose your partner you usually make sure that you can keep your freedom. Regarding your health, you may have problems with your stomach and intestines. Your glory years are between 36 and 40.
White 8 (Parkha Kin) defines the stubborn people who do not give up on their concepts and ideas of life and morality. You emanate strength and energy, you are faithful and your marriage is based on trust. Regarding your health, mental problems can occur, as well as atherosclerosis, osteoporosis and constipation. Your glory years are between 49 and 55.
Red 9 (Parkha Li) represents the people with a sensitive and sentimental personality. You are too demanding because you set your expectations too high when it comes to others. In your love relationship you win your partner with sweet words, but you are also prone to jealousy. Regarding your health, you may have problems with your eyes and with your heart. Your glory years are between 24 and 29 years.
