The smoked salmon salad recipe is a festive preparation that you can successfully serve within any meal that you organize in the comfort of your home. The ingredients for the smoked salmon salad are:
A kg of potatoes
200 grams of smoked salmon fillet
one raw yolk
one cooked yolk
an onion
a carrot

1. Wash the potatoes, and then put them to boil with a pinch of salt. Do not try to rush boiling the potatoes by increasing the fire, because it will destroy their surface, keeping them raw inside. When the potatoes are boiled, they can be easily pierced with a knife. Remove the potatoes from water and let them cool, then peel and cut them into cubes of equal size;

2. Cut the smoked salmon into cubes or stripes according to your preferences;

3. Prepare the mayonnaise as follows: beat the raw yolk with the cooked one until they become smooth. Add oil gradually, by constantly stirring in the same direction to avoid cutting the mayonnaise. Do not add more oil than necessary, because it will come out of the mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Keep the mayonnaise cold until you use it in the preparation.

4. Clean the onion, wash it and cut it

5. Wash the carrot; put it to boil with salt. Let the carrot boil until it can easily be pierced with a knife. Remove the carrot from water and let it cool, then cut it into tiny cubes or grate it;

6. In a bowl add the potatoes cut into cubes, the salmon cubes or stripes, the onion and the carrot. Stir until the mixture is uniform, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Finally, add the mayonnaise and mix in the same direction that you have mixed the mayonnaise in order to avoid its cutting;

7. Let the salad in the refrigerator and allow it to cool until serving; if not entirely consumed reinsert it in the refrigerator to avoid the mayonnaise from going bad.

The smoked salmon salad recipe is delicious; it can be prepared with any kind of smoked fish, depending on your preferences.
