The English Springer Spaniel Is One Of The Best Breeds Of Hunting Dogs

In the nineteenth century, Norfolk was the only original spaniel hunting dog in England. Once the century came to an end, the spaniel became more refined and had a slower development, separating the Welsh Springer Spaniel and English Springer Spaniel. Being a descendant of the old Field Spaniel, which hardly exists today, the English Springer Spaniel was officially recognized by the English Kennel Club in 1902 and in 1927 the race was also recognized by the American Kennel Club.
