Probably many of you think nostalgically about radio theater because currently it is not really that popular in Romania, so those who are truly passionate about this form of artistic expression are the most interested.

Radio theater has been and still is one of the most important Romanian broadcasts, being designed so as to please listeners of all ages. Before the first radio drama was broadcast on radio by large acoustic images, artists and performers recited whole passages belonging to important literary works, which helped lay the foundations of Romanian radio theater.

The first broadcast was transmitted in Romania on February 18th, 1929, with the title "What thevillage knows" by the known writer - V.Al. Jean. The play, a comedy that was to everyone's liking, was played live by Maria Filotti, Victoria Mierlescu and Ronald Bulfinski, actors from the National Theatre in Bucharest. Although live transmission was very difficult, radio theater has evolved significantly over time, becoming one of the most popular methods of relaxation in Romania.

After the success of the play"What the village knows", on March 3rd, 1929 presented a "scene" of Michael Saulescu
