The Lowchen Is Easy To Train And Great With Children

The Lowchen race like any other Bichon dog group has Mediterranean origins. There have been found references on this dog since the 15th century. It is a distinct breed for more than four hundred years. The name comes from the lion haircut with similar characteristics. He had a great reputation, especially in Belgium.

The Lowchen is a small dog, with a square look. The head is in proportion to the body, skull equal in length to muzzle, but quite wide with a big black nose. The eyes are round, large and dark.
