How and where did it come from?
In the 21st century there wasn’t a single person who hasn’t heard of Kama Sutra, and who hasn’t practiced at least five of the positions trained on the pages of this book. Kama Sutra is more exact, an old text of Indian origin, which was considered, in modernity, the largest and most complex paper about love from the history of Sanskrit literature. Kama Sutra is perceived like a philosophy of life in general, that establishes the balance between mind and body, being shown this way by the Hindu concept of tens of centuries old. It is thoroughly associated with the Treaties of sexology, which is based however on concepts revealed from ancient times.
What is Kama Sutra about?
For everyone to understand, Kama Sutra means passion, giving the modern world a controversial vision on lust without limits, thus managing to prove that sex can be considered one of the most refined arts. Although at this moment are plenty of talks on the record, daily edited books that treat the subject of sex, this still remains a real taboo subject for most of us. Kama Sutra appeared exactly between the first and the fourth century after Christ, in Benares, when the great and wise Shari Vatsyayana took a decision to form an alphabet of sex, listing on the pages of the book all he could find, see and practice next to his fellows. Thus arose the famous detailed sex guide, named Kama Sutra, the book being dedicated to the goddess from whom all the bliss and all the passion flow. This reflects those who enjoyed the lavish privileges, elegant, filled with sumptuousness and splendor, but also intrigue, a world in which Vatsyayana lived also. Then, the main concern of the people from the Indian society was just the search for carnal pleasures, this becoming even an obsession called seduction or sex.
The paper in question describes many types of sexual relationships depending on the stature of the two partners who are perpetrating the sexual intercourse, on the intensity of their desire, on the time given to love and on their sexual preferences. The sexual positions presented in the pictures from Kama Sutra are based on positions inspired from yogic culture. Kama Sutra approaches topics that have always preoccupied couples, but which they were hardly able to discuss, sex being a taboo topic, extremely inhibitor in society. Kama Sutra is addressed to all age categories and it talks with ease, but without using a vulgar language, about penis and vagina sizes as elements of sexual harmony, about the role that the imagination of the partners fulfills for granting sexual pleasure, or about the intensity of the desire, or how can it come to a higher level.
Kama Sutra suggests also variants of hugs, kisses, and even words, exclamations to “announce” the orgasm, to harmonize even more the feelings of the two. As a conclusion Kama Sutra shows pages and pages of the best sexual positions, and opinions about the advantages and disadvantages that they involve.
Among the positions mentioned with so much style in Kama Sutra, there are: the Missionary Position, the Love Siege Position, the Andromache Position, the Spoon Position, the Super Stimulating Position, the Scissor Position, the Fantastic Rider Position, the Slave Position, the Melee Position, the Elongated Position, the At Gallop Position, the Partners Bet Position, the Swirled Position, the Grand Opening Position, the Lotus Position, the Forcing the Entry Position, the Opposite Bow Position, the Goat Position, the Suspended Position, the 69 Position and many more.
The Love Bible – Kama Sutra, also contains pages with positions that do not involve a great physical effort like most of the positions, for which you have to have a pretty good physical condition. There are at least four sexual positions in which the orgasm can be reached without too much effort, so when you are tired after a white night or you are just not in the mood to exercise too much during the intercourse, leaving aside the acrobatics, you can consult the book, which will certainly help you. Some comfortable and relaxing positions that will help you get a fast orgasm, of proportions, are: theElephant, the Missionary, the Spoon and the Lotus.
The Elephant Position, although it is inspired from the method of mating of elephants, hence the name, it can still be graceful. The girl is supposed to lay on her belly, with tight legs and a pillow under her abdomen, while the partner lies on top of her, leaning on his hands, or even over the partner’s body, if he doesn’t weigh too much. Otherwise he risks suffocating his partner and so all the passion disappears.
The Missionary Position is the classical position practiced at the very first sexual experience. It’s one of the most comfortable positions and it has certainly nothing to do with Christian missionaries and the fact that the man has a mission to accomplish, to satisfy the woman. For this position the girl is supposed to lie on her back, with her legs slightly apart, and the partner on top to enter between her legs. Even though it looks like in this positions the boy does all the work, the girl shouldn`t be left inferior. Some techniques she could apply would be: arching her back, caressing her own breasts, wrapping her legs around the boy’s body, holding him between her thighs.
The Spoon Position is the sleep position, meaning you can make love exactly the way you sleep: the boy holding the girl in his arms, both with the legs slightly bent, and of course the girl with her back turned at the boy. This position is recommended especially for pregnant women.
The Lotus Position is the spicy variant of the Missionary Position, meaning the girl’s legs are wrapped around the boy’s body.
