Would you buy a 3D TV?
Report
I saw 2 types of 3D Tvs, one needed glasses and one was just a 3D effect. Ok now with the glasses and their video looks pretty good, but what, you will buy 3-5-10 glasses for all family and friends so you can watch 3d ? Do not worth the money, and they are very expensive. The other option is just a 3D effect that make my eyes explode, I do not think it is good for my health. Who needs 3D TVs at home ? if you want a 3D movie you should go cinema. I will wait the TV that will be holograms and you will be in center of the movie like in virtual reality, that will be something amazing at home.

What do you think ? Do you like those TVs ?

In my opinion, technology has evolved way too much. We don't know how to enjoy the things that really matter, like a walk in the park, time spent with our family, etc. The technology in our days makes us stay only in doors, without doing anything else, and also can affect our health because of radiation and many more. The ones who are most impressed by these 3D TVs are the children and they are also those whose eye sight gets affected. There must be some kind of equilibrium or else we will go from doctor to doctor.

I think 3d movies are great. In a short time, it will start a new revolution in this field. When you are look at one 3d movie is like in your daily life, is something like things who happen in this movie are happening exactly near you, in some situations you can feel many part of actors feelings, and at an advanced cinema you can feel with your body some actions from this movie. With all of this I think that 3 movies are dangerous for our health because they are "playing" with our eyes, our mind.

Not everything that is new is necessary good. Many inventions have come and gone.If there isnt demand for something they will not produce it anymore. These tv's are only accessible to rich people and the people who like to have the latest trends just because its cool. But they are not very practical.Of course, who knows what the future might bring?

Now, I am not a sorcerer, so I can't predict the future. But I think that in the end, too much technology will lead the human race to huge issues and even extinction (considering the health issues that exist now because of too much indoor staying).

In another question I said that there are already 6 years since I don't own a TV anymore and I don't miss it. So naturally, I would never buy a 3D TV. In fact, even if someone would offer me the 3D TV for free, I would still not use it. I would take it and sell it the same day and use the money to go to a vacation outdoors. Or pay a debt, or whatever. Almost anything is better than stay in the house and screw up your brain sensors over a bloody dangerous piece of technology.

I went to a 3D movie once - I saw Prometheus in 3D. That will also be the last 3D movie I'll ever see in my life. My head didn't hurt or anything - but it was obvious to me that my brain was working too hard just for simple tasks as perceiving the space movements in the room - not to mention comprehending the message of the movie, maintain the other functions of the body and so on and so forth.

I'm not saying they should be banned (the TVs or the Cinemas) - but I am saying that they should be avoided as much as possible, particularly considering that most movies (if not all of them) are also available in "normal" 2D format.

"you will buy 3-5-10 glasses for all family and friends so you can watch 3d ?" - Hell no! I prefer have a huge fight with the entire family, if it comes to that and send them all out and watch 3D TV somewhere else, not in my home. And if I'll ever have kids, it goes without saying that as long as I'm alive and they are minors, they won't get any 3D. After they become grown-ups themselves, they can do whatever they want - but the children's eyes should be protected as much as possible and it's the least a parent can do.
