Description
Salzburg is a city surrounded by Alpine Mountains, a city where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts lived, composed and performed, a city with an outstanding architecture where you can see baroque influences, elegant squares and narrow alleyways. It is a heaven for romantics.
The time to come here is in July and August because between this time the main festivals take place. The most important musical festivals is considered The Salzburg Festival. You can also come in winter season as you can relax snowboarding or skiing.

Hohensalzburg Fortress it is a landmark located above the city. This Fortress was built by Gebhard to defend from the attacks of the neighbouring Bavarians and it was rebuilt by Leonhard Von Keutscahch. This landmark also has two museums where tourists can see weapons, uniforms and armours and also instruments of torture
St Peters Abbey is the first church that you have to see in Salzburg and the faboulous Rococo style makes St Peters Abbey one of the great buildings in Salzburg.
Getreidegasse is also known as Grain Lane and it is sitted in the Old-Town section of Salzburg and its considered the busiest alley here. This alley is the home to a cafe, gallery or boutique.

Salzburg it is a city of music where you can find clubs, bars such as Barfly, Vis–Vis, Republic Caf, The Cave Club.
Shopping
Main areas are Old Town and The Getreidegasse. Salzburgs Olt Town has over 400 shops, stores and boutiques.
